30 Days Blog- Fletcher Brown

30 Days Blog - Fletcher Brown

4. How likely would you have been to just walk away from the landlord who helped Alex and Morgan without paying the entire sum owed to him?

I would have been very tempted to leave without paying the landlord but I wouldn't have done it because it would have come back to hurt you in the long run. Of course, in this scenario, this wouldn't have been a serious problem after the 30 days because Morgan Spurlock is a millionaire but in the real world, you can't skip bills. You can't skip bills because it can affect your credit score. If you have a bad credit score then it makes things like buying a car very hard because you have to pay finance rates. The bottomline here is that I would be very tempted to leave without paying but I wouldn't have done it because I know what would happen down the road.

9. Why do you think that Alex became so emotional about the services that were given to her at the Free Store?

I think she became very emotional at the Free Store because living off minimum wage is very stressful so it all came out for Alex in that moment. Also, when you are living off minimum wage you have to rely on people and other resources to provide things you need to survive. I think Alex was very appreciative of the services the Free Store gave her and Morgan. I think she didn't realize that people who live on minimum wage have to put their faith in people to help them get by. She also realized the things they gave her meant that she didn't have to pay for those things and spend it on other supplies they need.
