9.  Why do you think that Alex became so emotional about the services that were given to her and Morgan at The Free Store??
Alex became so emotional at The Free Store because she was so grateful for how generous and compassionate the people who worked there were. She and Morgan had recently moved into an unfurnished apartment that they were struggling to make feel like a home, and she knew that from the free services they received from The Free Store, they'd be able to make it more comfortable for them. Without the free furniture they received, the apartment would have remained empty because Morgan and Alex couldn't afford to buy any due to their small paychecks.

12. Observe how easy it was for Morgan and Alex to get into an argument over finances. What is the underlying feeling that you think is at the cause of the conflict?
Morgan and Alex fought often over decisions regarding finances, which caused a lot of stress in their relationship. Both of them were tired and frustrated from working hard all day, but still were earning  barely enough money to get by. Alex and Morgan also seemed to have different beliefs regarding finances spending habits, which caused many disagreements throughout the film. The combination of their exhaustion and their differing beliefs was the cause of all the arguing.
