Why do you think Alex became so emotional about the services that were given to her and Morgan at The Free Store? I think Alex became so emotional because she finally had furniture to sit on and eat on. This can be emotional because they couldn't afford to go and buy furniture since it's really expensive, so to have people help them out was nice. It shows support people have to offer for those who can't afford essentials. Alex and Morgan aren't the only people who work minimum wage and to have a free store is generous of people to donate their old furniture. She got emotional also because it took stress off of herself; if there wasn't a free store, then Alex and Morgan would probably not have any furniture.
Observe how easy it was for Alex and Morgan to get into an argument over finances. What is the underlying feeling that you think is the cause of the conflict? Mind set is the underlying feeling. When a couple is wealthy, money isn't as big of a deal because they don't have to settle on wants and needs. When a couple has financial issues, arguments occur because they both want to spend their money on different things. An example would be when Alex and Morgan had their niece and nephew come over to hang out. They said they would spend $20 , but ended up spending $50 in a day. Alex was very upset because she knew they couldn't afford to do that but Morgan wanted to have fun. This is why a lot of couples who have financial problems divorce/breakup because they both handle their money differently. Morgan isn't the saver and Alex is; Morgan spends the money that they could have used on bills and that causes arguments.
